Costa del Sol solar, sized for how you use the property
A villa in Benahavís with a heated pool, a flat in Fuengirola and a restaurant in Málaga need three different solar systems. We start every quote with twelve months of bills, a look at the roof and a list of what runs in the property: pool pumps, air conditioning, hot water, an electric car.
From that we size the panels to cover the electricity you use in daylight, which is where solar pays back fastest. We only add a battery when your evening use or your need for backup makes it worth the money, and we show you the numbers either way.
Under Spain's self-consumption rules, surplus energy you export is credited against your bill. We set that up with your electricity company as part of the job.

How much do solar panels cost on the Costa del Sol?
Most homes fall somewhere between about €4,200 for a small system and €9,500 for a larger villa system, before any battery. Your quote depends on the roof, the equipment and the electrical work. See our price guide.
Do I need a battery?
Not always. If the property uses most of its electricity in daylight, panels alone often give the better return. A battery earns its place when you export a lot by day and import a lot after dark, or when you want power-cut backup. More on batteries.
Do you handle the paperwork?
Yes. We take care of the electrical certificate, the registration of the installation in Andalucía and the information your electricity company needs to pay you for surplus energy. How the process works.
Can you install at a holiday home I am not living in?
Yes. If you live abroad for part of the year, we can arrange access, send photos as the work progresses and set up monitoring so you can see the system from your phone. Solar for holiday homes.
How long does an installation take?
A typical home is installed in one to three days once the design is agreed and the equipment has arrived. Larger villas, batteries and commercial roofs take longer. Registration follows after the installation.
