What matters most
An installer who surveys the property properly, sizes the system from your bills, names the equipment, handles the paperwork and is still there when you need aftercare. Price matters, but only once those are in place.
Ask who does the electrical work
Solar installations in Spain must be carried out and certified by an authorised electrical installer. Ask whose name will be on the certificate.
Check the survey
A quote from a satellite image alone is a starting point, not a design. Before a fixed price, someone should check the roof, shade, fixing points, the inverter position and the fuse board. We survey every property before fixing the price.
Look for sizing from your consumption
If the installer has not asked for your bills or about your pool, air conditioning and car, the system is probably being sized to the roof, not to you.

Insurance and roof work
Ask about liability insurance and who is responsible if a tile breaks or a flat roof leaks after installation.

Communication
If you are more comfortable in English, choose an installer who explains the design, contract and paperwork in English. We do.
